SELF PORTRAIT FOR ANIMATED WOMEN

Self portrait for Animated Women, a group AR exhibition of animated portraits. Exhibited at StopTrik International Film Festival September 30-October 3, 2021 in Maribor, Slovenia, & at Animest Bucharest International Animation Film Festival October 8-17 in Bucharest, Romania.

Animated Women aims to give established and emerging female-identifying animators a broader display. The traditional self-portrait is elevated by augmented reality (AR) through the Animated Women exhibition, with each of the 20 animated portraits becoming animated when one scans its QR code with the eyejack app.
